چکیده
A milestone was set in the field of medicine with discovery L-asparaginase present serum guinea pig responsible for action against acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Since then, use as a potential anti-cancer drug has been great success modern oncology. Despite its varied sources, new sources are continuously being explored to obtain high therapeutic index drug. The study aims isolate producing microorganisms from environmental niches Northwestern Himalayas. climatic conditions region and ancient agricultural practices which still followed these areas, add up diverse microbial repository habitat can be potent asparaginase source. In study, soil samples different regions Jammu were collected aseptically. From isolation studies, total 44 bacterial isolates obtained. Pure cultures then screened activity both qualitatively well quantitatively using agar plate nesselerization method. Screening studies resulted producer isolated black gram sample Rajouri, showing an enzyme 9.14 U/ml. Based on biochemical molecular approaches, identified Enterobacter aesburiae strain R16C1 / No. MT93543. pure culture soils Himalayas possessing activity. Further, optimization help considerably increasing tested human cancer lines efficacy.

Isolation and identification of L-asparaginase producing actinomycetes from Persian Gulf
Introduction: L-asparaginase is an anti-neoblastic agent used in the chemotherapy of lymphoblastic leukemia. This enzyme is widely distributed among microorganisms, plants and animals, but microorganisms have proved to be a better alternative for L-asparaginase, thus facilitating its large-scale production. Actinomycetes are filamentous, Gram-positive bacteria widely distributed in the marine e...
متن کاملIsolation and molecular identification of carotenoid-producing bacteria
The production of pigments from bacteria is significant due to the low cost, high yield and ease of extract compared with other sources. Carotenoids are one of the most important pigments with antioxidant properties which are the precursor of vitamin A synthesis and have antibody overproduction ability, anti-tumor activity and inhibitory effect on the cardiovascular disease. The present study a...
متن کاملIsolation and Molecular Identification of Keratinase-Producing Bacteria from the Sludge of Qeshm Island
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives: Keratinase is an enzyme commonly used in the production of detergents, cosmetics, drugs, leather, and other industries. Considering the high cost of traditional methods for decomposition of feather, hair, hooves, nails, and wool that contain high levels of keratin, their biodegradation with keratinase-...
متن کاملIsolation and molecular identification of bacteria producing alkaline phosphatase enzyme from environmental sources
Alkaline phosphatase (ortho phosphate, monoester hydrolase phosphoinositide E. C. 3.1.3.1) is a non-specific metalloproteinase enzyme that is located inside periplasmic space of bacteria. This enzyme is used to measure freshwater sediment in genetic engineering for cleaning water. Isolation and molecular identification of the bacteria producing alkaline phosphatase and comparison of its product...
